Prof. Dr. Vahit Onur Gül

Academic Journey

A 1998 graduate of GATA Medical Faculty, Prof. Dr. Vahit Onur Gül completed his General Surgery residency at GATA in 2009. Field experience from a NATO/KFOR mission in Kosovo, paired with decades of operating-room discipline, established him as one of Türkiye's pioneer names in robotic surgery. He was awarded the title of Associate Professor in 2017, and Full Professor thereafter.
